Oh, The Places You Will Go

Saturday was my birthday!
I know, 22 is young, but I still feel old ;)

Birthdays have never been huge occasions for me, I usually just hang out with friends and family. Even that was hard this year, as we are very new to the area (as far as friends are concerned) and unfortunately Travis had to work from 7am Saturday until 7am Sunday.

But, my family and friends are so awesome that I still had a fabulous birthday, one of the best so far! Details:

Friday night, Travis took me out to dinner for ribs and crab cakes, some of my favorites! We got to dress up a bit and try a new restaurant, which we love to do on occasion. The food was great and we had a really nice time.

Saturday morning, I awoke to my husband and dog singing happy birthday from their side of the bed, too cute. After Travis left I got ready for the day and then decided to go get a birthday Starbucks- guess what was on my car seat?

Travis is so good at both leaving surprises in my car often, since we first started dating, and also at bringing home spa certificates!

Then I got to skype with my college bff and her puppy :) And later recieved a super fun birthday package from her in the mail, thanks ash!! I will add pictures of my package later, how sweet!

My friend Kim (such a blessing, a dear friend so soon after moving!) picked me up and took me out to lunch, and then we went to get our nails done. She brought me flowers, too!

My birthday was fabulous!! Just goes to show me once again how truly blessed I am :) I have the best family and friends around!
